Persons knowing themselves is something that is rarely thought about. Really think about it. When you sit down and think about how you can understand yourself in terms of who you are and what you want, can you answer any of those questions?

Know Where Your Strong Points Are
When you know these, you know where you excel and what makes you different from the rest of the people out there.
These can be traits, qualities, looks or anything that you can think of that truly makes you unique, and a strong person.
Know Which Habits You Have
Writing down all of the bad habits that you have can put them into perspective on why you do them, and that you do them at all. Biting your nails, smoking or being extremely late are all habits that should be written down.
You need to find ways to change these, and find the root of the habit in the first place.
What Do You Like, And What Don’t You Like
Make a list of the many things you like, and don’t like. You might surprise yourself when you think of something you once liked, but now you do not like.
Don’t worry though, people change and with it comes some things that you might not like anymore, or things that you now like when you once didn’t.
Write Down Any Core Values That You Have
These values can make anyone motivated enough to make changes in their life, but it also shows you who you are and what you want out of life.
It shows the type of person that you are on the inside, depending on what you put down on the paper. These are rules of your law, whether they are spiritual, from your grandparents or however you live.
The power is in your hands to decide what is important in your life. Don’t wait for do it right now.
When you can decide on what is important in your life, and what is really not then you might see a change in the things that come and go.
Something might be bugging you, but you find out that it is not that important so you take it off your mind, this is a way to make your list of priorities and stick with them.
When it comes to raising awareness about yourself, simply asking yourself these questions and creating lists can give you a good idea of who you are and what you want out of your life.
If your become honest with yourself, and precisely bring out what is important to you, then you know you feel comfortable with who you are.
